RACE 7 – KING OPIE
KING OPIE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. KING OPIE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, KING OPIE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 8 – GLORIOUS DRAGON
GLORIOUS DRAGON, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GLORIOUS DRAGON was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, GLORIOUS DRAGON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 8 – RUSSIAN EMPEROR
RUSSIAN EMPEROR, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings, however, the horse was noted to have a restricted action in both front legs. RUSSIAN EMPEROR was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in both front legs. As previously advised, RUSSIAN EMPEROR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
