High profile sprinter who has not won beyond 1200m in his 21-start career. Comes out of a solid third place in the G1 Lion City Cup when he had every chance and looks doubtful at the 1600m trip.

Top Knight

Runner-up in this race last year and is the winner of nine of his 22 starts, including the G1 Singapore Derby and G1 QEII Cup. Has had two warm up runs over 1200m and now rises to a more suitable 1600m and gets champion jockey Vladimir Duric back in the saddle and he looks the horse to beat.

Sacred Croix

Talented six-year-old who has rediscovered his best form and has won four of his past five starts. A three-time winner over 1600m and is more than capable of winning with the right run in transit.

Mr Clint

Former Singapore Gold Cup winner who returned lame last start when a disappointing ninth place. Prior to that he was a slashing fourth to Sacred Croix in a 1600m race.

Fame Star

Consistent sprinter who has won from 1200m to 1400m but has not won a race for 462 days. Questionable to run a solid 1600m trip.

Lim’s Lightning

Brilliant winner of the G1 Lion City Cup, and despite the fact he has not won beyond 1200m, he has been placed over 1600m. If he gets the extra 400m distance he will play a big part in the finish.

Big Hearted

G1 Singapore Gold Cup winner from last year who was a brilliant winner over 1400m last start. Highly suited by the rise to 1600m and looks the testing material.

Minister

Finished runner-up in two legs of the Triple Crown last year when prepared by Lee Freedman. Has since changed trainers to Donna Logan and has not looked the same horse. Will need to improve to feature.

Sun Marshal

Former Singapore Derby winner from 2019 who has not won a race since. Has also changed trainer and has not been performing at his best. Needs to improve.

Rocket Star

High profile four-year-old who has missed the top three only once from 16 starts. Stormed home for second place in the G1 Lion City Cup when he reeled of the fastest final 400m sectional time and was placed second in the Singapore Guineas over 1600m. Big chance.

I’m Incredible

Former G1 QEII Cup winner from 2019 who has not won a race since. Looks completely out of form and will struggle.

Gold Strike

Consistent six-year-old who ran home well behind Big Hearted last start in the G1 Singapore Gold Cup. Looks a place chance at best.

Another sprinter who has never won beyond 1200m and despite racing well he appears fully tested at 1600m.

Was a slashing second place to Sacred Croix last start over 1600m in a Handicap race but he is yet to win on the turf with all eight wins coming on the AWT surface.

Rising nine-year-old who has not won a race for 1014 days and despite racing well, a place looks best for him.

Handy former Argentinean galloper who is a four-time winner over 1600m but has never won a turf race in six attempts and looks tested.

Handy sprinter who has won between 1200m to 1400m but appears outclassed at Weight-For-Age level and is better suited in Handicap races.

Former Australian galloper who is a four-time winner from 1350m to 1500m. Has trialled well but faces a massive task at debut.
