In accordance with established practice, Veterinary Officers of the Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare & Biosecurity Policy today conducted examinations of all horses competing in the international races to be conducted this coming Sunday, 25 April 2021.

Following these examinations the Veterinary Officers have advised the Stewards that, upon initial examination, FURORE, trained by Mr A S Cruz, was found to be lame in the right front leg.

FURORE will continue to be closely monitored and a further release will be issued at the relevant time.
