30/03/2021 12:26

The Hong Kong Jockey Club (the Club) has been closely monitoring the latest COVID-19 developments. In view of recent improvements in the COVID-19 situation, the HKSAR Government has gradually relaxed the social distancing measures. After carefully considering various factors including the operation of OCBBs after re-opening and the demand of customers, the Club has decided to open 19 OCBBs on the days of day race meetings from 5 April 2021. However, any OCBB located in any “specified area” delineated by the HKSAR Government or in the vicinity of confirmed cases will not open. Customers may visit the Club’s website at https://is.hkjc.com/ocb/ocbbizhour_en.pdf for the latest information.

The OCBBs will provide audio broadcast of races in the betting hall and live broadcast of races in the Media Hall or Priority Zone on the days of day race meetings.  All customers entering Media Hall or Priority Zone are required to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code of the premises or provide their names, telephone numbers and the date and time of the visit.

Public health measures including body temperature scanning, mask-wearing, social distancing and cleaning and disinfecting will continue to be implemented in the OCBBs.
