HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast eight races of Dubai World Cup Day from Meydan Racecourse, Dubai on Saturday 27 March. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races and two Double Trio pools will be offered. Besides, World Pool will be offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce) to ensure a maximum liquidity for racegoers.

HKJC will also simulcast Takamatsunomiya Kinen from Chukyo Racecourse, Japan as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on Sunday 28 March. Bets will be accepted* for this overseas race.

The ticket sales for Dubai World Cup Day will be available from 12:00 nn on Friday, 26 March. The ticket sales for Takamatsunomiya Kinen will be available from 12:00 nn on Saturday, 27 March. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)

Race times and betting pools

The simulcast of Dubai World Cup Day is scheduled as S1-2 to S1-9, and is due to start at 8:15 pm on 27 March. Takamatsunomiya Kinen is due to start at 2:40 pm on Sunday 28 March, when ten local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. The local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 10. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

Broadcast arrangements

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of the race. 

‘S1’ or ‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting with cash or Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S1 box’ or ‘S2 box’ and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces.  Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.

If ‘S1’, ‘S2’ or ‘Overseas race’ is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
