The Committee resolved to grant a Club Jockey’s licence to Harry Bentley for the period from 16 April 2021 to the conclusion of the current 2020/2021 racing season, both dates inclusive.

PROFILE – Harry Bentley

British jockey Harry Bentley, aged 28, has enjoyed a highly successful riding career.  Apprenticed at the age of 16 to UK Trainer Gary Moore he has since accumulated a total of 6706 race rides and 1002 winners (15% strike rate) with 41 Group and Listed races including a Group 1 Darley July Cup (Newmarket, UK) and Prix de la Foret (Chantilly/France) in 2016 on LIMATO. 

Jockey Bentley has gained substantial international experience including riding in France, Germany, Canada, the UAE and Qatar, and at the Breeders Cup meeting in the USA.

Jockey Bentley has advised his minimum riding weight as 118 lbs.
