The Stewards have been advised that CORDYCEPS KING (E083), trained by Mr C S Shum, worked on the Large All Weather Track at the Conghua Racecourse yesterday morning just before 6:00 am carrying the incorrect saddle cloth. It has been ascertained that on this occasion CORDYCEPS KING incorrectly carried the saddle cloth assigned to SIMPLY THE BEST (D083), a retired horse, also trained by Mr Shum.

Mr Shum was fined the sum of $5,000.
