1200m – Dirt

Coca Bomb Queen

Won over 1200m at Nakayama last September.  Not a factor in her first three runs this term but closed for a solid 5th at Hanshin 1400m in this class last out.  Hold up runner.  Best on standard track.

Crisis

Not won in 14 starts since October 2018.  Not a factor in his 3 runs this autumn.  Hold-up runner.  Relishes standard and good surface.

Forza F

Notched his latest win in a 2-win class race at Tokyo over 1300m last November. Smart effort when dead-heated for 3rd in this class at Niigata 1200m in August.  Solid 5th at Tokyo 1400m two starts back.  Versatile.  No ground concerns.

Ho O Catherine

All starts on turf in 14 runs.  Best finish at this track a head 2nd in the 2019 G3 Fairy Stakes (1600m). Not a factor since.  Generally settles better than midfield.  Unknown on dirt.

Kaminoko

Placed 6 times earlier this season before notching his long-awaited win in a 2-win class race at Hanshin over 1400m on 13 December.  Usually settles midfield but tactically versatile.  Handles all going.

Meiner Luck

Has not tasted any success since March 2019.  Closed last season with a 3rd effort at the same class, track and trip but very disappointing in each of his 9 starts this term.  Hold-up horse.  Ran well on standard and good.

Meisho Hanamori

Three-time winner over 1400m.  Not disgraced when 7th at the track and trip last out.  Takes lead or settles handily.  Won on muddy and sloppy.

Nishino Horizon

Three wins, including two at the trip and track, from 14 career starts.  Edged two rivals for a nose win at the course and distance two starts back, before promoted to this class for a sub-par 9th at Hanshin over 1200m on 7 November latest.  Generally comes from deep recently and has no track concerns.

Nonlicense

Consistent filly at her best over 1200m and 1400m.  Ran 3rd in the same class at Kyoto 1200m in October and not disgraced when finishing 6th in a Hanshin contest over 1200m last out.  Races handy for a strong finish.  No ground issues.

Plique A Jour

Ran over turf and dirt, sprinting to staying distance, and both flat and chase races.  Last out a 6L win in a chase maiden over 2970m at Hanshin on 6 December.  Races handy or takes lead.  Handles all track.

R Rosso

Tasted her first success in almost two years in a 2-win class at Chukyo 1200m in September, before coming off an 8th place finish at Hanshin over 1400m last out.  Races handy or takes lead.  Has won on both standard and sloppy going.

Royal Pearls

Won 3, including twice over the distance, from 31 career runs. Well beaten in all 4 runs since promoting to this class in March.  Races close to the speed and handles all going.

Shear Line

Smart sprinter with 4 wins, 4 seconds and 4 thirds from 23 runs.  Started this term with a fair 5th in this class at Kyoto over 1200m in February.  Returned from three-month break but well beaten in a Niigata 1200m in May last out.  Usually settles close to speed and has no ground concerns.

Snark Star

Won over the course and distance in March before finishing a decent 2nd in this class at Niigata over 1200m in July. Went close again for a 0.75L 2nd at track and trip on 12 December last out.  Often sits handy.  No ground worries.

Spirit One Bell

Winless since taking a 1200m race at Hanshin in June 2019.  Not a factor in all 6 runs this term.  Generally sits better than midfield.  No track issues.

Suzuka Cause Mambo

Showed rapid progress last 3 runs, all at Tokyo over 1400m.  First winning a 1-win class race in October, before storming home for a decent 2nd two starts back.  Again produced a strong finish to take a 2-win class race on 29 November latest.  Hold-up horse.  No ground issues.
