RACE 5 – CLASSIQUE LEGEND

CLASSIQUE LEGEND, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  CLASSIQUE LEGEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  As previously advised, CLASSIQUE LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 5 – BIG TIME BABY

BIG TIME BABY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse had bled from both nostrils.  BIG TIME BABY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K L Man this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  Before being allowed to race again, BIG TIME BABY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – VICTORIAM

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that VICTORIAM was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, VICTORIAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
