The Stewards have been provided with written advice from Racing NSW that LEWIS (E173), which raced under the same name prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers in a number of its race starts conducted in that jurisdiction.

Mr D J Whyte, trainer of LEWIS, has requested to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test. Mr Whyte’s request has been approved.
