LONGINES Hong Kong Cup

Magical – IRE
Cantered on the main dirt track, doing one lap with fellow Aidan O’Brien trainees Order Of Australia and Mogul.

Skalleti – FR
Cantered one lap clockwise on the main dirt track alongside Royal Julius.

Normcore – JPN
Easy canter around the all-weather track for one lap solo under her work rider.
Her work rider said: “She is getting a little bit tired after travelling, but she looks good today. She is coming along well.”

Win Bright – JPN
Last year’s winner of the LONGINES Hong Kong Cup cantered one lap of the all-weather track at Sha Tin under his work rider.
The work rider said: “He isn’t tired after the journey and looks great, he came out on the track for the first time today since we got here – He has been to Hong Kong for many times, so he has acquainted with the environment. He is doing as well as we expected.”

LONGINES Hong Kong Mile

Beauty Generation – HK
Worked alongside Chater Pins on the turf over 1200m in a time of 1m 22.9s (30.6, 29.1, 23.2)

Work rider Romain Clavreul said: “I think he felt good, he was a bit fresh – he galloped very well this morning.”
“He galloped on the grass and did 1200 metres and did an easy 1000 metres and then joined the other horse in the last 200 metres – David (Hayes) just asked me to look after him,” he added.

Simply Brilliant – HK
Worked over 800m in a time of 55.9s (32.8, 23.1).

Order Of Australia – IRE
Cantered on the all-weather track, doing one lap with fellow Aidan O’Brien trainees with Magical and Mogul.

Romanised – IRE
Cantered two laps of the all-weather track at Sha Tin. 

LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint

Rattan – HK
Worked on the turf over 800m in 51.7s (26.9, 24.8)
Jockey Chad Schofield said: “I worked him this morning and he felt terrific, Richard (Gibson) has got him I think right where he wants him.”
Trainer Richard Gibson said: “We’re delighted with his physical condition, he’s peaking really nicely for this time of the year.”

Fat Turtle – HK
Worked alongside Big Party clocking 46.9s (24.8, 22.1) as a jump out on the turf course.

Big Time Baby – HK
Worked on the turf over 800m under Irishman Neil Callan, clocking 51s (27.7, 23.3) alongside stablemate Ultimate Glory. 

Tower Of London – JPN
The 2019 G1 Sprinters Stakes winner galloped on his own on the Sha Tin turf clocking 1m 30.6s (33.0, 32.2, 25.4) under his work rider.
The work rider said: “He was let to school on the turf. He did a little exploring but got relaxing. For the moment everything has gone well. He is probably just warm up in the trotting ring tomorrow.”

Inferno – SIN
Cantered around the all-weather track at Sha Tin, the dual SIN G1 winner did one lap under his work rider.

LONGINES Hong Kong Vase

Playa Del Puente – HK
Stepped on the main turf for a 1000m gallop under champion jockey Zac Purton, steadily increasing through his sections for a time of 1m 18.9s (27.1, 27.5, 24.3).

Chefano – HK
Worked on turf over 1200m in 1m 33.1s (34.0, 32.7, 26.4).

Mogul – IRE
Cantered on the all-weather track, doing one lap with fellow Aidan O’Brien trainees Order Of Australia and Magical.

Royal Julius – FR
Worked one lap clockwise on the all-weather track at Sha Tin with stablemate Skalleti.
