RACE 3 – AFRICAN SKY

After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on AFRICAN SKY at the request of Trainer T P Yung.  The Veterinary Officer this morning reported that this examination conducted by the Veterinary Surgeon showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea.  Before being allowed to race again, AFRICAN SKY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
