RACE 5 – TOP MILITARY

The Veterinary Officer has this morning reported that a further examination of TOP MILITARY, which became badly unbalanced of its own accord and shifted out towards the heels of GOOD SHOT near the 550 Metres, did not reveal any significant findings.  As previously advised, TOP MILITARY will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend and in amongst horses and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.  In addition, that official veterinary examination must include additional diagnostic assessments.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
