RACE 6 – CORDYCEPS KING

CORDYCEPS KING, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  CORDYCEPS KING was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  As previously advised, CORDYCEPS KING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 9 – YEE CHEONG PEGASUS

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that YEE CHEONG PEGASUS had sustained an injury to its left front leg on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, YEE CHEONG PEGASUS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 10 – QUADRUPLE DOUBLE

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that QUADRUPLE DOUBLE was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, QUADRUPLE DOUBLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
