The first of the seven to pass through the ring was Lot 464, a bay colt by Fastnet Rock, one of two purchases for the Club sired by Australia’s Champion Sprinter (2004/05), the other, Lot 1006, who is the first foal for his dam.

Lot 616 followed, an athletic bay colt by Dandy Man, sire of Peniaphobia, winner of the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint, as well as Big Time Baby, runner-up in last season’s G1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize.

The Club secured Lot 813 for 180,000 guineas, a son of Lope de Vega, sire of Santa Ana Lane, a five-time Australian G1 winner, as well as Belardo, a brilliant winner of the Dewhurst Stakes and Lockinge Stakes.

The youngster’s third dam, Billie Blue, is the dam of Scarlett Rose, the mother of Godolphin’s speedster and 2019 European Champion Sprinter, Blue Point, a four-time G1 winner who completed the King’s Stand Stakes and Diamond Jubilee Stakes double at Royal Ascot.

Lot 989 is an eye-catching colt sired by No Nay Never, the sire of 25 individual winners from his first crop, including two-time G1 winner Ten Sovereigns.

Lot 1153 is a bay colt by 2003 European Champion Sprinter, Oasis Dream, sire of over 200 stakes horses, including 27 G1 races, namely, Midday a six-time G1 winner. He is also the sire of Royal Ascot winner Goldream, as well as Muhaarar, a four-time G1 winner crowned 2015 European Champion Sprinter.

His progeny currently racing in Hong Kong include three-time winner Red Desert, earner of HK$4.76 million, while the juvenile’s dam, Rive Gauche, has had one winner from two runners and his third dam, Raysiya is the dam of six winners, including Razana, the mother of 2008 Hong Kong Classic Mile and Hong Kong Derby hero, Helene Mascot.
