2 Avilius Sound effort when 2L 2nd to Kolding in G2 Hill Stakes (2000m) at Randwick on 3 October. Proven at longer distance and advantaged if track rain affected.
3 Vow And Declare Last year’s G1 Melbourne Cup (3200m) winner who was also 2nd in this race. Slow pace against when 2.8L 12th to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October.
4 Buckhurst Jospeh O’Brien trained visitor who won G3 Alleged Stakes (2000m) on 27 June. Conceded too great a start under top weight when last start 5.3L 5th to Tiger Moth in G3 Kilternan Stakes (2400m) on 12 September.
5 Mirage Dancer 3rd in this race last year and back to winning form with head win from Mugatoo in G1 Metropolitan (2400m) at Randwick on 3 October.
6 Mustajeer Better effort last time when 4.4L 9th to Mirage Dancer in G1 Metropolitan (2400m) on 3 October. 2nd to Verry Elleeegant, albeit beaten 4.3L, in G1 Tancred Stakes in March.
7 Verry Elleegant Top class mare who scored nose win from stablemate Toffee Tongue in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October. Capable all conditions, excels on soft. Distance no issue.
8 Dashing Willoughby Won Listed race this distance and G3 at 3245m before solid effort when 2.5L 4th to Enbihaar in G2 Lonsdale Cup (3251m) at York on 21 August. Respected.
9 Finche Beaten 1.6L when 5th in this race last year. Sound effort when 0.2L 3rd to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October.
10 Prince Of Arran Regular UK trained visitor with two wins and four placings from six starts in Australia. Not disgraced when 7.3L 3rd to Enable in G3 September Stakes (2399m) at Kempton on 5 September.
11 Master Of Wine Promising and impressive winner of only previous 2400m run. Ran well when 0.8L 5th to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October.
12 The Chosen One Settled too far back when 5L 7th to Chapada in G2 Herbert Power Stakes at this course and distance last Saturday. His best form would see him competitive.
13 Warning G1 Victoria Derby winner at 2500m as a 3YO. Arguably turned in best run of race when 1L 6th to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October.
14 Dalasan Consistent performer who was 2nd to Russian Camelot (Warning 3rd) in G1 South Australian Derby (2500m) in May. Raced handy, fought on when 0.3L 4th to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October.
15 True Self Irish trained mare who was very good in two Australian runs this time last year including 2600m G3 win. Badly hampered at start when 13L 16th to Fujaira Prince in 2771m Ebor Handicap at York on 22 August.
16 Aktau Won Listed Mornington Cup at this distance in March but moderate two runs since. Latest, never travelling well before 14.6L last of 15 behind Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes.
17 Toffee Tongue Finished well along rails when 0.1L 2nd to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October. Runner-up in G1 Australian Oaks, last season, at only 2400m start.
18 Chapada Sound in two runs this season. Finished strongly in 1.25L win from Zebrowski in G2 Herbert Power Stakes at this course and distance last Saturday.

19 Raheen House Disappointed when 11.8L 10th to Paths Of Glory in Listed Wyong Gold Cup (2100m) on 4 September. Did win G2 at 2600m on heavy ground in April.
20 San Huberto Ground too soft when 17.5L 8th to Call The Wind in G2 Prix Kergorlay (3000m) at Deauville on 23 August. G2 winner at 3000m at Chantilly in June. Handles soft but not heavy ground.
21 Oceanex Led and faded when 4.6L 14th to Verry Elleegant in G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) on 3 October. Won two Listed races over 2500m and 2800m this year.
22 Le Don De Vie Import having first run in Australia after 1.8L win from Communique in Listed August Stakes (2290m) on soft ground at Windsor on 29 August.
