| 1 | Miss Extra | Has won all three starts this year, showing a fighting spirit each time – latterly when coming from off the speed to win a Chantilly G2. Mixed pedigree messages regarding this rise in trip. |
| 2 | Vadsena | Convincingly won her first two starts, at provincial tracks. Though failing to justify favouritism, her Listed 2nd at Chantilly was good, though this is a bigger challenge. |
| 3 | Ebaiyra | Has improved race by race and came from off the pace to comfortably win a G3 over 2400m at Chantilly in June. Drops back in distance, not a big issue. |
| 4 | Raabihah | Started favourite for both races, winning both by a significant margin. Latterly responding to jockey pressure, she quickened stylishly over 2200m for a Listed Longchamp victory. |
| 5 | Mageva | From a stable having a great season and did much better than her long odds might have suggested when 3rd in the G1 Pouliches (1600m) at Deauville. Strongest at the finish there. |
| 6 | Magic Attitude | Won an 1800m G3 at Longchamp in May and then did at least as well when second in the G1 trial for this here, though not nearly good enough for Tawkeel. |
| 7 | Fancy Blue | Won both starts at two then only got motoring too late, still running a fine 2nd to Peaceful in the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas (1600m) at The Curragh. A possibility if the extra trip proves a big plus. |
| 8 | Peaceful | Had clearly thrived over the winter, and, although briefly in trouble, was strong at the end when winning the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas over 1600m at The Curragh. The extra 500m is expected to suit. |
| 9 | Alpine Star | Had a 302 day break after winning an Irish G2 last year, returning even better with a terrific 4.3L G1 Royal Ascot 1600m victory. A big fancy for this, despite having stamina to prove. |
| 10 | Speak Of The Devil | One of many progressive fillies in this and she almost pulled off a shock win in the G1 Pouliches over the straight 1600m at Deauville last month. Stamina worries for this longer journey. |
| 11 | Solsticia | After decisively winning a Chantilly maiden she was made favourite for the major trial for this, nearly grabbing 2nd but well behind winner Tawkeel. |
