RACE 4 – BE READY

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that BE READY was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing.  Before being allowed to race again, BE READY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 7 – GREEN REIGN
       
GREEN REIGN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  GREEN REIGN was again examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  As previously advised, GREEN REIGN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
