The Club’s Chief Medical Officer has this morning provided an update on the injuries sustained by Jockey Jack H N Wong when he was dislodged from GALAXY EMPEROR in Race 6 at last night’s Happy Valley race meeting. The Chief Medical Officer reports that Jockey Wong has sustained a fracture to his left foot and also a rib fracture. It is anticipated that Jockey Wong will be discharged from hospital later today. A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Wong’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
