It was previously announced that the Licensing Committee had resolved to grant a Club Jockey’s licence to Vagner Borges for the period 1 March 2020 up to 31 May 2020, both dates inclusive.

Due to current circumstances relating to Jockey Borges’ work visa issuance the commencement date of his riding agreement with the Club has been delayed to commence on 14 March 2020 with the expiry date also amended to 14 June 2020.  Accordingly, Jockey Borges will now be available to accept race riding engagements at the Sha Tin meeting scheduled to be run on Saturday, 14 March 2020.
