RACE 5 – SUPERBELLA

SUPERBELLA, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPERBELLA was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor yesterday morning. He said at that time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg with a minor laceration to its superficial digital flexor tendon. As previously advised, SUPERBELLA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
