RACE 5 – LEGENDARY HERO
LEGENDARY HERO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. LEGENDARY HERO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P O’Sullivan yesterday morning. He said at that time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, LEGENDARY HERO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 8 – STAR LUCK
The Veterinary Surgeon reported that STAR LUCK was lame in its right hind leg in the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, STAR LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
