RACE 1 – CHATER KING
CHATER KING, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CHATER KING was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, CHATER KING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial around a bend and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 2 – NATURAL FLARE
NATURAL FLARE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its right front leg. NATURAL FLARE was again examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the stables of Trainer K L Man this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have sustained an injury to the right front tendon. As previously advised, NATURAL FLARE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 4 – RUN MOOCHI
The Veterinary Surgeon reported that RUN MOOCHI had sustained an injury to the left front tendon on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, RUN MOOCHI will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
