| 3 | King’s Speech | Winner over 1800m at Class 3 level in June. Has mixed his form since. Looked disappointing last start and needs to improve. |
| 4 | Song To The Moon | Old timer with the best form behind him and has not won a race for 497 days. Hard to recommend here. |
| 5 | Wind Trail | Has always shown ability and bounced back with a solid win last start over 2000m at Class 4 level. Rises in class here but can measure up. |
| 6 | Irving Lipschitz | Promising young galloper who finished powerfully last start over 1800m. Prior to that was placed second over 2000m at Class 4 level. Well placed to go close. |
| 7 | Buddy Buddy | Showed improvement last start when he ran 4th over 1400m. Now rises to 2000m. Faces a tough task and may need more time. |
| 8 | Majestic Empress | Inconsistent mare who has been mixing her form and proving hard to follow. Place chance only. |
| 9 | Shahbaa | Form has been well down and needs a major improvement to feature. |
| 10 | Mr Dujardin | Has proven costly to supporters being the beaten favourite three times from his last five starts. Fair effort last start when 4th and can surprise for the top four. |
| 11 | Larry | Has been rattling home in slick sectional times and looks a knockout chance to win. Only problem for him is the apparent lack of early speed in the race. |
| 12 | O’What A Feeling | Has not won a race for 618 days and has shown little last few runs. Hard to recommend. |
| 13 | Middle Kingdom | Yet to win a race in Singapore but ran home powerfully last start for a solid 2nd. Can be placed at value. |
| 14 | The Nutter | Winner over 1600m in June but has struggled since then and this appears too tough. |
