HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast two races of the Caulfield Cup Day from Caulfield Racecourse in Australia and six races of British Champions Day from Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain on Saturday, 19 October. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races. The Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of British Champions Day S1-8 will be topped up with $600,000 jackpot. Besides, two Double Trio pools will be offered to British Champions Day, and the 2nd Double Trio pool will carry a jackpot of $282,120.

The tickets sales for Caulfield Cup Day S1-1 will be available from 7:30 am on Saturday 19 October. The tickets sales for Caulfield Cup Day S1-2 and British Champions Day S1-3 to S1-7 will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday 18 October. The tickets sales for British Champions Day S1-8 will be available from 8:45 pm on Friday 18 October. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)

Caulfield Cup Day is scheduled as S1-1 to S1-2, it is due to start at 2:15 pm on 19 October. British Champions Day is scheduled as S1-3 to S1-8, it is due to start at 8:35 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

Broadcast arrangements

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio, as well as at Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs).  Customers can also review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of the race. 

‘S1’ must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S1 box’ and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces.  Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.

If ‘S1’ or ‘Overseas race’ is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The tickets sales for Caulfield Cup Day S1-1 will be available from 7:30 am on Saturday 19 October. The tickets sales for Caulfield Cup Day S1-2 and British Champions Day S1-3 to S1-7 will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday 18 October. The tickets sales for British Champions Day S1-8 will be available from 8:45 pm on Friday 18 October. Selling hours# for Caulfield Cup Day are:
