Satisfactory effort when 4.3 lengths 4th in G2 Golden Pendant (1400m) at Rosehill on 28 September. That was first run since June when won the G1 Tatt’s Tiara at this distance. Down to Melbourne now and has sound record racing left-handed. Capable wet or dry tracks and usually races handy to lead.

Aristia

Oaks winner at 2500m last season and has performed well in two runs this season. Latest was sound finishing 3.5 lengths 5th in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October. May be looking for further now but will finish well if tempo is strong as generally settles back. Wins have been on dry; placed five of seven on slow and heavy.

Spanish Whisper

Impressed with on-pace 0.5 lengths win in G2 Let’s Elope Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 14 September before below best when 5.3 lengths 9th in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October. Usually races close to pace. Preferred on good ground.

Etana

G2 winner at 2000 metres in May and not raced since failing in the G1 Queensland Oaks at 2200m. May need further but performed OK in 800m barrier trial on 7 October and won maiden on debut. Capable wet or dry. Will settle back.

Celebrity Dream

Won at this distance in Western Australia in April before transfer to Chris Waller. Slow tempo against when 4 lengths 7th in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October at first run this season. Settles handy to midfield. Won nine races dry and two from two on slightly rain affected ground.

Savatiano

Sound effort when 3 lengths 4th in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October at first run since June when 0.5 lengths 3rd to Invincibella in G1 Tatt’s Tiara. Boasts one win and four seconds from five second-up starts. Capable all conditions. Races close to speed.

Pohutukawa

Ran home nicely when 0.75 lengths 2nd in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October at second run this season. Split Invincibella and stablemate Savatiano when 2nd in G1 Tatt’s Tiara last season. Handles all conditions but four wins have come on rain affected ground. Races handy.

Baccarat Baby

Won eight of 16 starts and resumed from break with excellent 0.4 lengths win in Eagle Farm 1200m Handicap on 5 October. Capable all conditions with five wins dry and won three of four on heavy ground. Stalks the speed.

Jamaican Rain

Resumes from break and has won four of six starts when fresh. Impressed when second in barrier trial on 7 October. Generally races on speed, often leads and does excel on rain affected tracks.

Naantali

Sound effort when 2.6 lengths 5th in G2 Gilgai Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on 5 October. That was first run since June when two lengths off Invincibella in G1 Tatt’s Tiara. Races handy, OK all conditions and has two wins and two seconds from four starts this course and distance.

Angelic Ruler

Finished well when 2 lengths 3rd in G2 Blazer Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 5 October. Strong finisher who has missed the first three placings just once in 14 starts and looks to be capable all conditions.

Not raced since May when 3rd to Military Zone and Baccarat Baby in G3 Fred Best Classic (1400m) at Eagle Farm. Placed two of three previous fresh runs. Likely to settle well back. Does handle all conditions.

Satisfactory effort at first run this season when 2.2 lengths 6th in Listed Testa Rossa Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 29 September. Ran well when 3rd to Jamaican Rain and Naantali at only previous 1400m run. Handles wet and dry tracks; Likely to settle back.

Even effort when 3.4 lengths 9th in G2 Gilgai Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on 5 October. Can race handy at this distance and capable of improvement back to mares class. Looks to be best on good ground.

Sheezdashing

Strong finisher who hasn’t raced since 3.2 lengths 5th in Listed Ramsden Stakes (2800m) at Flemington in May. Likely to find this too short but ran well when 2 lengths 5th fresh at this distance earlier this year. One win was on good track. Placed four of five on soft ground.
