Danon Fantasy

Crowned JRA Champion 2YO Filly after taking the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies (1600m) last December.  Below par when 4th in the G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) and 5th in the Japanese Oaks this spring. Showed late burst when she won the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) latest. No worries for the 2000m and races from midfield or better. Tested only on firm track.

Meisho Shobu

1 win over 1400m dirt from 10 outings. Her two seconds in graded races are over a mile, so the only concern will be the 2000m. Her trainer Kaneo Ikezoe said she kept her good form after 5th in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) in September latest. Tactically versatile and handles all going.

Blanc Noir

3 wins over 1600m and 1800m from 7 career starts, but not raced over 2000m before. Undefeated in two starts so far since returning from layoff, a 1800m event at Hanshin in September latest. Races close to the speed. Tested only on firm and good.

Too Flashy

Already had 12 starts this term. Ran smart 4th in the recent two starts over 2000m on turf. No worries about the short turns at Kyoto. Settles in midfield or better. No track concern.

Chrono Genesis

Ran 2nd to Danon Fantasy in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies last December. Continued her fine form this year when 3rd in both the G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) in April and the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m) in May latest. She has an impressive turn of foot. Tested only on firm and good going.

Rose Tesoro

Broke her maiden over 2400m at Tokyo in February. Also won over 1800m at Niigata in August, before fair 6th in the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) in September latest. Tested only on firm and good. Hold up runner but can settle close to the speed.

Beach Samba

Has competed six graded races in 7 outings. Failed to win in the first two legs of the filly’s classic but had a good preparation for this when neck 2nd behind Danon Fantasy in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) latest. Tested only on firm and good. Generally ridden off speed but sat handily last out.

Curren Bouquetd’or

With 2 wins from 7 starts, she has never missed on board. She had no concern about the stretching-out of distance when she ran 2400m for the first time, finishing a neck 2nd in the G1 Japanese Oaks in May. Ran a smart 3rd in the 2000m G3 Shion Stakes at Nakayama in September latest. Tested only on firm.

Shadow Diva

Ran 2nd in the G2 Flora Stakes (2000m) at Tokyo in April. Started her autumn campaign when 9th in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin in September latest. No concern for the small turns over 2000m at Kyoto. Settles in midpack or further. Tested only on firm and good going.

Schon Glanz

Daughter of French Oaks winner Stacelita. Took her second win in the G3 Artemis Stakes (1600m) at Tokyo last October but has not won since. Ran 7th in the G1 Japanese Oaks in May latest. Hold-up runner with closing speed. Tested only on firm track.

Fairy Polka

Placed in a Listed event at the course and distance in January. Ran solid 2nd in the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) at Nakayama in September latest. The 2000m at Kyoto should be her best trip. Races close to the speed. Tested only on firm.

Red Anemos

3 wins from 8 career starts. Finished below par in graded stakes and did not have any chance on the rain soaked track last out when 13th in the G3 Radio Nikkei Sho (1800m) at Fukushima in June. Can sit handily on the rail. Generally handles all going.

Satono Damsel

Debuted just four month ago, she made a flying start to the current campaign with a third consecutive win over 1800m at Nakayama in September latest. Races close to the speed. No track worries.

Shigeru Pink Dia

1 win over 1600m from 6 career outings, also finished 2nd in the G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) in April. Ran keenly when 1.5L 4th in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) last out. Settles in midfield or further for her closing speed. Tested only on firm track.

Contra Check

3 wins from 6 starts. Took her first graded stakes win in the G3 Flower Cup (1800m) at Nakayama in March.  Disappointed when 9th in the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m) in May latest. Her speed will suit the 2000m at Kyoto. Leads or sits handily. Tested only on firm and good.

Passing Through

Ran smart 4th against colts in the G3 Shinzan Kinen (1600m) in January. Beat Fairy Polka and Curren Bouquetd’or to claim the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) at Nakayama in September latest. Races midfield or better. No track concern.

Espoir

3 wins from 5 starts since debut in October 2018. She had 3 runs this term and won by 4L on the rain-soaked track at Chukyo in July latest.  Handles all going. Usually races rear but can sit handily.

Sing For You

Won over 2000m on turf at Niigata in August latest. According to her trainer, the small turns at Kyoto is not a concern. Prefers firm track. Can lead or sit close to the speed.
