RACE 1 – EXCEL DELIGHT

EXCEL DELIGHT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. EXCEL DELIGHT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, EXCEL DELIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 6 – HEALTHY LUCK

HEALTHY LUCK, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. HEALTHY LUCK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K L Man this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, HEALTHY LUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 6 – SHARP STYLE

On arrival at the Start, Jockey A Sanna expressed concern regarding the action of SHARP STYLE. SHARP STYLE was examined by the Veterinary Officer who, after the necessary consultations, said the horse was suitable to race. After the race, SHARP STYLE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SHARP STYLE was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A T Millard this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg and have a very restricted movement in all four legs. As previously advised, SHARP STYLE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 8 – TRAVEL FIRST

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that TRAVEL FIRST had a very restricted action in both hind legs on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, TRAVEL FIRST will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – SUPER TURBO

SUPER TURBO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPER TURBO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER TURBO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
