Apprentice Jockey Victor Wong will be released from Prince of Wales Hospital today (Friday, 21 June) and will return to the Apprentice Jockeys’ School hostel, where he will continue his physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme as he recovers from several contusions and fractures he sustained to his chest, back and head in a track work accident at Sha Tin on 29 May. The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Chief Medical Officer is supporting this programme. It is not yet known when Victor will be fit to return to riding.
