RACE 2 – CAPTAIN BOSS

CAPTAIN BOSS, which hung in from shortly after the start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse had sustained minor lacerations to the inside of the left hock. CAPTAIN BOSS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A T Millard this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, CAPTAIN BOSS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. The horse will also be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend as previously advised.

RACE 7 – MR SO AND SO

The Veterinary Officer reported that MR SO AND SO was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, MR SO AND SO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
