The Stewards have been advised by the Chief Medical Officer that Jockey Eddy W M Lai, who is currently serving a careless riding suspension which will expire at midnight on Saturday, 23 March 2019, has also been ruled unfit to ride at the Sha Tin race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, 24 March 2019 due to a right foot sprain. A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Lai’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
