G3 – 2000m – Turf

Muzdawaj A solid performer at a handicap level and came with a well-timed challenge to win an 1800m handicap here earlier this month. However that was not a strong event and he will surely struggle to contend with much higher rated rivals here.
Racing History A winner at this G3 level back in the UK and with two solid Meydan efforts on both starts this year. Always close up, he held a winning chance 400m out in an 1800m G2 last month only for two smart stablemates to outspeed him late on. A live player.
Spotify Ran to a decent level in France but may not have been suited to the slow surface he usually encountered there. Plenty of confidence behind him for his debut in the Godolphin colours in a 2410m Meydan handicap last month and, leading early, he fended off a closer with the pair clear of eight other rivals.
Connect A winner of three of his nine starts in the UK at up to Listed level and including at this distance. However he was never able to launch a challenge in a 1800m handicap here earlier this month, and winning hopes here do not look good.
First Nation Well fancied for three starts in the UK last summer but for whatever reason disappointed each time. However it was a different story in a handicap here last month. In a slowly run race he was behind early but showed impressive speed to surge past rivals and sprint clear.
Oasis Charm Only raced twice in the UK last year but showed plenty of commitment to win those two handicaps. Returning after another break he continued the winning spree in a handicap over this distance here last month, the quick fractions looking to suit this smart gelding.
Team Talk Easily best of his three starts at Meydan last year was in this event, behind early but making good late progress into fourth. Again behind early in a strong handicap here last month with another swift finish taking him into second. A frantic pace would help his cause.
Vintager A very interesting recruit for Godolphin, being a lightly-raced horse who posted a career-best effort with a convincing victory in a hot 1600m Newmarket handicap last July. Gelded since and we could see further improvement on this Meydan debut.
