“I just needed that luck and unfortunately the luck enabled Karis to get a neck start on me and my horse is held a neck at the line. I had a lovely run and the race was run to suit me other than I was beaten. I am very proud of my horse and he has run an absolute cracker on his only second run up after 11 months off. My horse was gallant – it was a great training performance by John Size to get him there in that order and I must say well done to Karis Teetan.”
