The Stewards have been notified by Singapore Turf Club Stewards that Freelance Jockey Matthew M F Poon pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding on his mount BEST TOTHELIGN in Race 8 at the Kranji race meeting conducted on Sunday, 11 November 2018.

They have advised that Jockey Poon’s licence to ride in races has been suspended for a period to commence on Thursday, 22 November 2018 and to expire on Saturday, 1 December 2018, on which day he may resume race riding.  As such, Jockey Poon will be eligible to accept race riding engagements for the Sha Tin race meeting to be conducted on Sunday, 2 December 2018.
