SIN G1 – 2000m – Turf

Circuit Land Former Hong Kong galloper who has been racing consistently in Singapore. Rises to 2000m for the first time in his career and he may be tested at the distance with a big weight.
Elite Excalibur Finished a narrow third in this race last year. Has been steadily returning to form but appears weighted up to his best with 125lb.
Majestic Moments Every chance when fourth in this race last year. Produced the run of the race last start when finishing second in the QE II Cup (1800m). Form is good but weighted highly.
Noah From Goa Former South African galloper who was not beaten far in the QEII Cup (1800m) last start when enjoying a perfect run in transit. Looks a distance query at the 2000m.
Preditor Unplaced two starts at 2000m or further but has won over 1800m. Mixes his form and take on trust.
Bahana Winner of this race in 2016 when he led all the way and then was beaten a nose last year. Saves his best for this race every year. Ignore his current form and give a chance.
Elite Invincible Singapore Derby (1800m) runner-up who may be tested at the 2000m trip. Overlook recent efforts when he had excuses and he can run well with only 117lb if he produces his best form.
McGregor Looks the leader in the race who could give some cheek if left alone on the lead. May not have the class to win, but should give a good sight.
Blue Swede Eight-year-old galloper who has not won for 490 days and appears to have the job in front of him. Place chance at best based on his current form.
Claudia’s Beauty Eye-catching effort in the QEII Cup (1800m) when she charged home for fourth place. Drops 12lb for this race and is suited by the extra 200m. Looks a good chance.
Mr Clint Singapore Guineas (1600m) winner who will appreciate a 14lb weight drop from his unplaced effort in the QEII Cup over 1800m. More than capable of bouncing back.
King Louis Rising staying star and the winner of his last two starts including the El Dorado Classic over 2000m two starts ago. Weighted to be extremely hard to beat with only 111lb.
Sky Rocket Winner up to a mile and placed last start behind King Louis. Well suited with 110lb and must be included in the chances.
Twickenham Old timer who is out of form and appears to have the job in front of him.
Lim’s Magic Finished third in the Singapore Derby over 1800m when he looked the winner but did not stay the trip. This time up to 2000m will be a big test after a 49-day break.
Secret Win Finished eighth in this race last year but has since been struggling to find his best form. Place chance at best.
  Reserves
Mighty Kenny Back in form but enters as an emergency. Capable of figuring in the top six with his light weight if he secures a start.
Makanani Has been racing consistently without excuses. Place chance at best.
Song To The Moon No excuses of late and looks outclassed.
Chairman Has lost all form and hard to recommend.
