| 1 | Happy Yunibansu | Last win an 1800m upper class stakes race at Sapporo in July, 2017. Finished below par in first 4 starts this term, before finishing 3rd (with Corcovado in 2nd) in the Listed Tancho Stakes (2600m) at Sapporo in September latest. Prefers firm track. Usually settles back. |

Ran 2nd in both the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) in March and G3 Queen Stakes (1800m) in July, before she battled on for 3rd in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) at Tokyo on 13 October latest. Yet to run over 2200m but she finished 6th in the G1 Japanese Oaks over 2400m as a 3yo in 2016. Races better than midfield and tested only on firm and good going. |
| 3 | Reiho Romance | Half-length 2nd to Eterna Minoru in the G3 Aichi Hai (2000m) at Chukyo in January, before finishing 3rd in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) in March. Unplaced but finished close in 4 starts since, including 4th in the G3 Kokura Kinen (2000m) in August latest. Hold-up runner. No ground issues. |
| 4 | Primera Azul | Ran 5th in this race in 2016. An upper-class stakes race winner over 2000m at this course in October 2017, but has not yet won a graded race. Finished 10th in the G2 Kyoto Kinen (2200m) in February, again below par in two starts when back in October. Can take the lead or sit handy. Relishes firm track. |

Produced her best performance to date when half-length 2nd behind Satono Diamond in the G2 Kyoto Daishoten (2400m) in October, with top stayer Albert and last year’s G1 Japan Cup hero Cheval Grand in 3rd and 4th. No track worries. |
| 6 | Admire Lead | Scored her first G1 title in last year’s Victoria Mile but has not tasted any success since. Generally below par in four starts this year, best when 4th in the G2 Hanshin Himba Stakes (1600m) in April. Hold-up runner. Kyoto suits her. |
| 7 | Mozu Katchan | Notched her first G1 title in this race last year, also finished runner-up in the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m) in 2017. Ran 4th in the G2 Kyoto Kinen (2200m) in February before fair 6th to Hawkbill in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic (2410m) at Meydan in March. Improved for 3rd, a head behind winner and subsequent Tenno Sho Autumn runner-up Sungrazer, in the G2 Sapporo Kinen (2000m) in August latest. No track worries. |

Travelled nicely on-pace and pulled away for a 1.25L win in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) in September, before racing near the back and producing a strong dash to finish 3rd in the G1 Shuka Sho (2000m) at Kyoto in October latest. Usually sits handy or races close to speed. Tested only on firm ground. |
| 9 | Crocosmia | Ran a neck 2nd to Mozu Katchan in this race last year. This 5yo mare was unplaced in all 4 starts this term, best when 5th in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) at Tokyo in October latest. Best when taking the lead. No track worries. |
| 10 | Vafuram | This 6yo mare will compete at G1 level the first time in her career. Good efforts at this distance including one win, one second and one third, all at lower grade than this. Running-on 2.5L 4th in the G3 Mermaid Stakes (2000m) at Hanshin in June. Settled midfield and stormed home to take an upper-class stakes race (1800m) at Hanshin in September latest. No ground concerns. |
| 11 | Smart Layer | Veteran mare who ran 5th behind Time Warp in the G1 Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin last year. Took part in this race three times, finished 5th in 2015 and 6th last year. Below par in her 4 starts this term, including a bit keen early in her running when 8th in the G2 Kyoto Daishoten (2400m) on 8 October latest. Usually races held-up but can race close to the speed. |

Showed her brilliant late kick towards finish but was pinned by Deirdre at the line in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) at Tokyo last run. |
