| 3 | Lionrockspirit | Former Hong Kong galloper who landed a surprise all-the-way win at 29/1 last start. Should lead and could prove hard to catch again. Has won three times over 2000m. |
| 4 | Value Of Justice | Struggling to find his best form and place chances appear best at this level. |
| 5 | Yulong Medal | Has been disappointing since arriving from Australia as a two-time winner. Would need a major improvement to figure in the finish. |
