RACE 3 – COMPLACENCY

The Veterinary Officer reported that COMPLACENCY was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, COMPLACENCY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 6 – PATRIOT HERO

PATRIOT HERO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. PATRIOT HERO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, PATRIOT HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – CALIFORNIA WHIP

The Veterinary Officer reported that CALIFORNIA WHIP was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, CALIFORNIA WHIP will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
