The Club wishes to confirm that an accident occurred in the stable area of Sha Tin Racecourse at around 2:00pm this afternoon. Win Beauty Win, a 4-year old horse trained by Mr Paul O’Sullivan, broke loose and came into contact with a fence. The Club’s Veterinarians went immediately to the scene but the horse was unable to be rescued.

This is a tragic event and the Club would like to express its condolences to Win Beauty Win’s owners.

The Club has commenced an investigation.
