G2 – 1200m – Turf

Advertise Imposing colt who came from last to first on sole appearance over 1200m at Newbury, finishing strongly, with Burj in third. Will improve.
Alfie Solomons Fourth to Advertise on debut at Newbury then won minor event on all-weather track at Newcastle over 1000m. Are better qualified contestants.
Barbill Won over 1009m at Bath on debut then second to The Irish Rover at Newbury over 1200m. Will be difficult to reverse that form.
Blown By Wind Solid form in four runs all around 1000m, latest when beaten less than 2 lengths in Listed race. Will appreciate step up to 1200m.
Boa Nova Won minor race on debut at Bath over 1145m last month. Will need a lot more.
Burj Godolphin representative followed up a promising debut behind Advertise by romping home in an ordinary race on the all-weather track at Wolverhampton. Difficult to assess.
Calyx Bit keen, bit green and hung a bit but strode clear impressively once in top gear to win decent looking 1200m race at Newmarket. That only 10 days ago but looks useful. Will stay further.
Cosmic Law Won latest two of three races, notably when appreciating step up to 1203m and perhaps the soft ground at Epsom. Won well there and decent at least.
Dubai Legacy Godolphin runner who was green and hung when winning nice race over 1301m at Doncaster earlier this month. Bound to improve and may prefer the expected faster ground.
Fox Champion Expensive purchase who was probably inconvenienced by the soft ground when just beaten over 1301m at Doncaster earlier this month. Should do better but will need to.
Gee Rex Irish contender made up a lot of ground to finish fourth in a Listed race over 1200m on second run but unlikely to be good enough.
Getchagetchagetcha Won four runner race over 1000m at Ascot last month and will appreciate 1200m but long odds-on favourite The Irish Rover only half a length behind after rearing at start and losing ground.
I Am A Dreamer Improving with experience and has won his latest two, of four, races, both over 1200m. Still somewhat green and should improve again. May not be good enough.
Indigo Balance Irish runner. Professional when winning a 13 runner maiden race over 1200m at the Curragh and could be useful.
Kuwait Station Will need to move up a gear to follow up success in a small race at Ripon over 1200m earlier this month.
Midnight Sands Well beaten in decent race at Beverley on sole appearance. Too big a task.
Ninetythreetwenty Won both races, latterly in fair five runner event over 1200m at Pontefract. Should improve further and a live outsider.
No Needs Never A very promising effort to finish second from long way back in maiden race over 1255m at Cork. Will still need to show a lot more to be involved.
Pogo Soft ground may have been against him when beaten at Goodwood after promising run behind Advertise at Newbury. Probably not good enough.
Sergei Prokofiev Favourite to give Aidan O’Brien his ninth win in the Coventry. Odds-on for all three of his races, all five runner events over 1000m. Impressive when winning Listed race easily at Naas last time. An obvious contender.
Shaybani Won small race at Chepstow after promising debut run. This is a big step up.
Shine So Bright Bred to stay much further, so encouraging that won maiden over 1007m on debut. Will be suited by step up in trip and fast ground. A chance.
The Irish Rover Live candidate for Aidan O’Brien. Got act together on third run when improved to win going away from fair field over 1200m at Newbury after briefly being outpaced. Should continue to progress.
Vange Followed up promising debut effort with dominant success over 1215m at Chester. Form difficult to assess but a live outsider.
