The Licensing Committee, at their meeting conducted on 8 June 2018, resolved to grant a Freelance Jockey’s licence for the remainder of the 2017/2018 racing season to Jack H N Wong to take effect on the day following the race meeting at which he rode his 70th race winner in Hong Kong.  As Jockey Wong rode his 70th winner in Hong Kong at the Sha Tin meeting held yesterday, he will ride as a Freelance Jockey at the Happy Valley race meeting scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, 13 June 2018.

Accordingly, his weight allowance will automatically reduce from 5 lbs to 3 lbs with immediate effect.
