SIN G1 – 1600m – Turf
| Be Bee | Former champion two-year-old who won the G3 Singapore 3YO Sprint (1200m) before charging home for 2nd in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m). Must be rated a big winning chance. |
| Eagle Eye | Former Argentinean who was unbeaten in three starts prior to coming to Singapore. Debuted with an excellent 2nd in a Class 3 race over 1200m on the Polytrack but faces a massive task to rise to 1600m on turf at G1 level at his second Singapore start. |
| Mr Clint | Great run when he came from near last on the bend to finish 2nd in the G3 Singapore 3YO Sprint (1200m) before getting well back and working home for 9th in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m). Backs up from a Class 3 win over 1400m last Friday. |
| King Louis | Exciting three-year-old who scored a brilliant win over 1600m two starts ago against older horses in a Class 3 race before having no luck in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m), when he was caught wide throughout but rattled home late for 3rd in the fastest final 400m of the race. He looks the one to beat over 1600m. |
| Tesoro Privado | Ultra-consistent galloper who never runs a bad race. Had the perfect run last start in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m), when he hit the lead in the straight but was run over late. Can figure in the finish again. |
| Yabadabadoo | On-speed runner who looks outclassed and unlikely to see out the 1600m after failing in both the G3 Singapore 3YO Sprint (1200m) and G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m). |
| Captain Jamie | Nice effort in the G3 Singapore 3YO Sprint (1200m) when he charged home for 3rd, going on to produce an honest effort when 10th in G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m) without threatening. |
| Lord Of Cloud | Honest three-year-old who appears out of his depth at this level after finishing 6th in the G3 Singapore 3YO Sprint (1200m) and then last in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m). |
| Lord O’Reilly | Promising type who rises to the 1600m trip for the first time. Looked to have every chance in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m), when he ran on fairly for 8th to Mister Yeoh, but gives the impression that he will appreciate the extra 200m. |
| Terrific | Last-start winner in a Class 4 Non-Premier race over 1600m against much easier competition. He will find this race much tougher. |
| Mr Dujardin | One of four horses to have won a race at 1600m or longer (King Louis, Tesoro Privado & Terrific the others). He appears more effective at trips around 2000m and may find this a bit sharp at G1 level. |
| Super Dynasty | Former Australian galloper who scored a nice win over 1400m in Class 4 Premier race at a much easier level, then failed last Friday night with a 7th in a Class 3 race over 1400m. This looks much tougher. |
| Fusion Power | Beaten last start in a Class 4 Non-Premier race over 1200m on the Polytrack. Looks completely outclassed at this level. |
| What’s New | Handy three-year-old who has been beaten in easier races at his last two starts but both times has finished strongly for 2nd. Gives the impression the extra distance will suit, but this race is a massive rise in class. |
| Nova Vocal | Promising young sprinter who has won two out of his three career starts, including a Class 4 Non-Premier (1200m) race last Friday night on the Polytrack. Faces a massive test with a rise to 1600m and switching to the turf for the first time. |
| Quarter Back | Drew wide but was ridden perfectly last start when he travelled three-wide with cover and worked into the race at the right time but only battled for 5th in the G2 Singapore 3YO Classic (1400m). Distance looks a query. |
| Big Wave | One-time winner from eight starts who was beaten in a Class 4 Non-Premier race last start and looks outclassed at this level. |
