The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting six races on Poule d’Essai des Poulains Day from ParisLongchamp Racecourse in France on Sunday, 13 May.

The Longchamp racecourse, which had been closed since the 2015 Arc meeting, reopened its doors in April this year following more than two years of redevelopment works. Rebranded as ParisLongchamp, the famous home of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe now features a four-storey grandstand where racegoers can enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the entire track as well as the Paris skyline.

The Poule d’Essai des Poulains (reserved for colts) and the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (restricted to fillies) bring together the best three-year-old milers of Europe. They are the equivalent of the French 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas, and the first leg of the respective Triple Crown titles for colts and fillies.
