Share your Champions Day’s photos at Sha Tin on Sunday for a chance to win a fabulous prize

Champions Day at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday (29 April) will for the first time bring together on one race day the Chairman’s Sprint Prize, Champions Mile and Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup, three world class Group 1 races worth a combined HK$58 million. 

The Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2000m) will be staged as Race 8 and offers total prize money of HK$24 million. The Hon. Geoffrey Ma Tao-li, Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal of the HKSAR, will present the trophy to winning connections after the race. 

Renowned celebrity owner Michele Reis will attend the big day as the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup Ambassador. She will join Mr. David von Gunten, Chief Executive Officer Greater China of Audemars Piguet, and Mr. Oliviero Bottinelli, Member of the Board of Directors of Audemars Piguet, as the souvenir presenters at the trophy presentation ceremony.

The HK$18 million Champions Mile (1600m) will be run as Race 6.  Professor the Hon. Sophia Chan Siu-chee, Secretary for Food and Health of the Government of the HKSAR, will present the trophy to the winning connections after the race.  The HK$16 million Chairman’s Sprint Prize (1200m) will be run as Race 7.   Dr. Simon S O Ip, Chairman of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, will officiate at the trophy presentation ceremony.

A spectacular line-up of on-course activities is also not to be missed on 29 April.

  • Racegoers can share the day’s enjoyment by joining the photo contest for a chance to take home fabulous prizes, including two winners of Samsung 55″ The Frame UHD Smart TVs valued at HK$29,880 each. To join the contest, fans must share their best photos taken during Champions Day at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, 29 April, on Instagram with the hashtags #HKChampionsDay, #ShatinRacecourse and #GoRacingHK;
  • A brand new series of themed merchandise for Champions Day will be available at the designated Sales Counters and Gift at Races souvenir shops at Sha Tin Racecourse on 29 April, while stocks last;
  • A variety of international culinary delights will be available at Mezza One, Sha Tin Racecourse.

Admission to Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses will start at 10:45am with the first race starting at 12:45pm. For event details, please refer to the terms and conditions on our event website. All racegoers must be aged 18 or above.
