Dubai World Cup Day and Osaka Hai Cup Day races to be simulcast for betting

Dubai World Cup Day
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races on Dubai World Cup Day from Meydan Racecourse in Dubai on Saturday, 31 March. The first race will start at 8.50pm Hong Kong time.

The Dubai World Cup fixture is the richest race meeting in the world and the climax of the three-month-long Dubai World Cup Carnival. A host of top names from around the globe will race for the lucrative US$30 million worth of purses on offer.

Final declarations with barriers for the Dubai World Cup Day races will be available on the morning of Friday, 30 March.

Osaka Hai Day
On Easter Sunday, 1 April, the Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting six races from the Osaka Hai Day meeting at Hanshin Racecourse. The first race will start at 12.25pm Hong Kong time.

The Osaka Hai (G1 2000m for 4yo and upwards) has served as an important lead up for the Tenno Sho (Spring) and more recently, the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup (G1 2000m) at Sha Tin. The race was upgraded to Grade One status last year.
