HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast six races of Golden Slipper Day from
Rosehill Racecourse in Australia on Saturday 24 March 2018. It will also simulcast Takamatsunomiya Kinen from Chukyo Racecourse, Japan as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on Sunday 25 March 2018. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races with the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Takamatsunomiya Kinen topped up with $600,000 jackpot.

The tickets sales for Golden Slipper Day and Takamatsunomiya Kinen will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday 23 March and from 12:00 noon on Saturday 24 March respectively (subject to further announcement by the Club).

Race times and betting pools

Golden Slipper Day will start at 11:05 am on 24 March and these overseas races will be scheduled as S1-1 to S1-6. Takamatsunomiya Kinen is due to start at 2:40 pm on Sunday 25 March, when ten local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. This overseas race will be scheduled as S2-1 and the local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 10. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

Broadcast arrangements

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio, as well as at Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs).  Customers can also review the overseas races at www.hkjcracing.com one hour after the running of the race.

 ‘S1’ or ‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets

Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S1 box’ or ‘S2 box’ and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces.  Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.

If ‘S1’, ‘S2’ or ‘Overseas race’ is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.

Ticket Sales Arrangement for the Overseas Races

Ticket sales for Golden Slipper Day will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday (23 March). The ticket sales for Takamatsunomiya Kinen will be available from 12:00 noon on Saturday (24 March). Selling hours# for the overseas races are:
