Race 3 – MY GIFT

MY GIFT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was found to be distressed. MY GIFT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg with a sore right front tendon. As previously advised, MY GIFT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

Race 11 – NEW ELEGANCE

NEW ELEGANCE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. NEW ELEGANCE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, NEW ELEGANCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
