G1 – 1200m – Turf

1 Long Leaf Unbeaten in three starts at 1000m, now to 1200m. Enjoyed the run of the race when sound half length winner from Ollivander in the Listed C&G Diamond Preview at 1000m at Caulfield on 27 January.
2 Written By Impressive debut winner on heavy ground at Sandown in December. Then resumed with impressive half length win from Plague Stone in G3 C&G Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. Drawn wide but overcame barrier 13 of 13 last time.
3 Run Naan Finished 2.25 lengths 3rd to Long Leaf at 1000m this track on 27 January before finishing well when 3.1 lengths 5th to Written By in G3 C&G Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. Blinkers on first time.
4 Prairie Fire Strong finishing and impressive winner last Saturday when one length clear of Khulaasa in Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) at Flemington. May not have speed to take advantage of barrier one but will be strong at the end.
5 Ollivander Debut 1100m winner at this track before half length 2nd to Long Leaf in the C&G Diamond Preview (listed race) at 1000m here on 27 January. Jockey said then raced ‘flat’ when 8.8 lengths 10th to Written By in G3 C&G Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. Tongue tie on first time.
6 Encryption Placed in three starts to date. Latest was 1.5 lengths 2nd to Ennis Hill (with Prairie Fire third) in G3 Chairman’s Stakes (1000m) at this track on 3 February. Drawn wide but chance with similar form to Prairie Fire and Run Naan.
7 Native Soldier Won at Geelong and Moonee Valley before closing 2 lengths 3rd to Written By in G3 C&G Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. 1200m likely suit. Blinkers second time.
8 Plague Stone Covered ground and run was sound when half length 2nd to Written By in G3 C&G Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. That was first run since November and likely to be improved.
9 Grand Symphony Raced handy and held on well on debut when 1.75 lengths 2nd to Kinky Boom in restricted Listed Inglis 2YO, at this course and distance, on 3 February. Well drawn and potential improver.
10 Enbihaar Won only two starts. Most recent was half length win from Oohood in G2 Fillies Diamond Prelude (1100m) at this track on 10 February. Shown good speed both runs. Awkwardly drawn.
11 Kinky Boom Highly impressive debut winner when came from last in 1.75 lengths win from Grand Symphony in restricted Listed Inglis 2YO, this course and distance, on 3 February. Hard to beat.
12 Lady Horseowner Debut winner on soft ground before strong finishing 0.3 lengths win from Crossing The Abbey in G3 Fillies Diamond Preview (1000m) at Caulfield on 27 January. Owners have paid late entry fee to run here.
13 Ennis Hill Led throughout in 1.5 lengths win from Encryption and Prairie Fire in G3 Chairman’s Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield on 3 February. Drawn to take advantage of early speed.
14 Crossing The Abbey Won and placed at 1000m before 2.4 lengths 6th to Enbihaar in G2 Fillies Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February. Blocked for clear run in closing stage last time.
15 Qafila Debut winner at 1000m this track in October before strong finishing 2.4 lengths 4th to Setsuna in G3 Ottawa Stakes (1000m) at Flemington in November. Not raced since but placed in barrier trial on 29 January.
16 Oohood Strong finisher likely to be suited at 1200m after three placings from as many starts at 1000m and 1100m. Last run was closing half length 2nd to Enbihaar in G2 Fillies Diamond Prelude (1100m) at Caulfield on 10 February.

17 Aristocratic Miss Beaten 2.25 lengths behind stablemate Kinky Boom before 1.75 lengths 2nd to Casadiva in 2YO Fillies Maiden at Bendigo (1100m) on 17 February. Blinkers off.
18 More Than Exceed Sound effort at second start when head winner from Dancer’s Kin in Morphettville 1050m 2YO Handicap on 3 February. This is harder.
19 Roobeena Did best work late when 5.9 lengths 5th to Prairie Fire in Listed Talindert Stakes (1100m) at Flemington last Saturday. Blinkers off, noseroll on.
20 Melveen Beaten 8.5 lengths behind Kinky Boom on debut before nose win from Gheedaa in Sandown 2YO Fillies (1200m – for non metropolitan winners) on 14 February. Up in class.
