The award-winning Troupe performed their breathtaking acrobatic stunts, while Chi sang the Chinese National Anthem and other famous melodies. The opening ceremony, featuring the shows will be held at the Parade Ring at 11:50 am.
Free admission for tourists at National Day Race Meeting
Tourists to Hong Kong will gain free admission at Sha Tin Racecourse for the National Day Race Meeting (1 October) by showing a valid travel document upon entry to the Public Enclosure (excluding fee-charging venues).
The National Day Race Meeting is a 10-race programme, with the first starting at 12:45 pm. Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 10:45am. The National Day Trophy has been staged as Race 7 to start at 4:05pm.
Xie Feng, Commissioner, Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the HKSAR will officiate at the opening ceremony, whilst Zhu Wen, Director-General, Publicity, Culture and Sports Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR will officiate at the trophy presentation of the National Day Cup.
