INDIGENOUS STAR, a declared starter in the aforementioned race, has been advertised as having a ring bit applied for the first time in this race.  The Stewards advise that INDIGENOUS STAR raced with a ring bit at its first four race starts prior to that piece of equipment being removed for the horse’s two most recent starts.  Therefore INDIGENOUS STAR has been incorrectly shown as racing with a ring bit for the first time tomorrow when in fact that piece of equipment has been previously applied.
